In keeping with their mission to save the turtles, their swimwear is made from 84% post-consumer recycled polyester and 16% spandex. This clever breathable and flexible material is also independently certified as sun safe up to UPF 50 . This means that it blocks over 97.5% of the sun’s rays (solar ultraviolet radiation), which can be harmful to the skin.
